FRee soccer tips for today 02/MAY/2020
Rukh Brest vs FK Gorodeya predictions for Saturday’s Belarus Premier League clash. Gorodeya hope to bounce back when they visit Rukh Brest in Saturday’s Belarus Premier League tie. Read on for all our free predictions and betting tips.
PICK: FK Gorodeya Double Chance (Win or Draw)
REASON FOR THIS PREDICTION
- Rukh Brest have only won two of their six Belarus Premier League matches so far.
- Gorodeya have only lost one of their last four outings in the league.
- Rukh Brest have averaged just 0.33 goals per game this term, while Gorodeya have managed 0.5 goals per game.
- Two of Rukh Brest’s last three games have ended goalless.
Top flight newcomers focus on rearguard action
The newly promoted Rukh Brest may be picking up a respectable tally of points in their maiden Belarus Premier League campaign, but the newcomers certainly aren’t endearing themselves to the neutrals.
They have scored just two goals all season and their goalless draw at Torpedo Zhodino last weekend made it one goal from their last five games. In total, Rukh Brest’s top flight games this term have seen only four goals scored.
You can’t blame Rukh Brest – who were only founded four years ago – for being defensive in their first season in the big time. That being said, they haven’t been a particularly enjoyable team to watch, and we’re not expecting Saturday’s offering to buck this trend.
Gorodeya improve after dismal start to 2020 season
Gorodeya sit just one point ahead of Rukh Brest in the 2020 standings despite losing their opening two matches of the season. They followed that disappointing start with a three match winning streak, and while that was brought to an end against BATE last weekend a victory on Saturday could launch them up to 2nd in the table.
The visitors do, like their opponents, suffer from a lack of attacking intensity. Gorodeya have scored three times in six matches this season, conceding five at the other end to make for marginally better viewing than Rukh Brest’s outings.
Hosts set to drop points on Saturday
Despite only winning two of their six top flight matches so far, Rukh Brest are being touted as the bookmakers’ favourites here. Gorodeya have only lost one of their last four games and that came against Belarusian heavyweights BATE Borisov. All things considered, backing a Gorodeya win or draw double chance looks good value for money.
We’ve already alluded to the lack of goalscoring prowess of both Rukh Brest and Gorodeya. They have averaged 0.33 and 0.5 goals per game respectively in the top flight this season, and with two of Rukh Brest’s last three games ending goalless we’re backing that for our correct score prediction.
